The University of Alabama football team opens the 2010 season on Saturday, September 4, when they host the San Jose State Spartans at the newly expanded Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will mark the start of the 116th season of Alabama football. The Alabama-San Jose State game will be televised on a pay-per-view basis by the Crimson Tide Sports Network with kickoff set for 6 p.m. (CDT). Chris Stewart will call the action with former Alabama quarterback Tyler Watts as the color analyst and former Tide linebacker Barry Krauss reporting from the sideline.
